Who collects your data

What data we collect

your email address (required to join);
the language of the page you sign up from and the source of your sign-up (for example YouTube or the website), recorded automatically;
the date, time and IP address of your sign-up and of your confirmation, which prove that you gave your consent.

Why we collect it

Only to:

let you know when BlackChart opens and send you the launch details;
know how many people are interested and which channel they come from (for example YouTube or the website), without building a profile of you.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Legal basis

Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the “GDPR”). You give it by signing up and confirming through the link we email you. You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

Leaving your email is optional. Without it, however, we cannot add you to the list.

Which tool we use

Sign-ups are handled with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), the service we use to send emails. Brevo processes the data on our behalf, as a data processor, according to our instructions. Brevo may also use some of this data on its own account to keep its platform secure (for example to detect fraud or abuse); for that use, Brevo's own privacy policy applies.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop writing to you straight away. If the list is not used for the launch within 12 months of your sign-up, we delete your data.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to receive it in a readable format, or to stop processing it. Just write to info@blackchart.co.

To leave the list you don't need to write to us: every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

If you believe the processing breaks the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit (Belgium): www.autoriteprotectiondonnees.be. If you live in another EU country, you can also contact the authority in your country.
